
Balochistan Archives, as the keeper of the records of the Agent to Governor General from its beginning in the late 18th Century, has in its care the largest accumulation of original documents in Balochistan. Among the holdings are recorded on nearly every known manuscript, typewritten, and printed text on paper and printed maps.
Save and Preserve is the term used by the Balochistan Archives to describe a range of basic preservation procedures designed to prolong the life of archival records by providing a stable storage environment. Secretariat records cover the period from 1925 to 1965. There are a total of 129 Bastas and 60 Bastas have been compiled. the files in the records are related to Jirga, Accounts, and political.
